ABOUT GRAHAM

Graham Roberts is a 26-year-old British Racing Driver and the 2017 & 2016 Fun Cup UK Champion.

Having started racing karts back in 2005 at the age of 13, Graham progressed to circuit racing in 2010 when he made his car racing debut racing in the 2CV 24 Hour race, a race he would compete in again the following year.

It wasn’t until 2014 when Graham competed in his first full season in the Fun Cup UK Championship. Just like the 2CV, Graham immediately took well to the Fun Cup cars and instantly made a lasting impression on his competitors, regularly setting quick lap times and running at the front.

After using 2014 as a learning year, 2015 was Graham’s first attempt at the championship title. His first attempt was a valiant effort securing 2nd place overall to become Vice Champion and the inaugural Fun Cup Driver of the Year award.

2016 saw a third year in Fun Cup and after some car troubles in the early races, Graham proved his ability to fight back and claim the 2016 Fun Cup UK Championship title after 3 wins and 4 podiums.

In 2017, Graham returned to the Fun Cup Championship for a fourth time with the aim of becoming a back to back champion. After a season long battle with the likes of professional drivers such as ex-BTCC start Anthony Reid, Graham managed to fend off the competition to win the title again and become a two time, back to back Fun Cup UK Champion.

Aside from the Fun Cup championship, in 2015 Graham raced in the VW Fun Cup Spa 25 Hour race at the world-famous Spa-Francorchamps circuit. On his first attempt Graham finished 1st in class and 15th overall out of 100 cars.

Graham has also made one-off appearances racing in the BritCar Dunlop Endurance championship and the Birkett Relay Race.

2018 will see Graham competing in select GT races whilst looking to build lasting relationships with potential partners to help him progress his career forwards.
